Led by LFG's Ashkon, The Sex is comprised of
a diverse and accomplished group of musicians from all genres, many of
whom have done studio work for LFG projects in the past. Keyboardist
Ben Mills was a major part of Sayre and Samix's "One Side Away."
Bassist Jon Bush, saxophonist Mani Vafaei, and show-stopping violinist
Anton Patzner have all appeared on LFG recordings. As of yet,
the band is strictly a live performance project, but has plans for a
genre-bending studio set sometime in the future.
