 Sayre is one half of Sayre and Samix, who
began LFG when they dropped the “One
Side Away” EP in 2001. Two years later, he joined with what is
now the current LFG line-up and released the critically acclaimed Pacific
Avenue. In describing "Eye Defined", one reviewer proclaimed
"Lyricist Sayre is a modern-day Siddhartha surrounded by rows of cookie
cut-out kids and mass-produced individuality" (Good Times Review).
Today, Sayre is currently back in the studio
working on his first, full-length studio LP, tentatively titled The
Most I'll Confess. The album is slated to be completed by
fall '05, and will feature production by Samix, Coley Cole, and Plutoe the
DJ.
